    Help!

I took some pictures of my neighbour's baby whilst they were in the garden on Sunday - they are so taken with the pictures that they have asked me to recommend them a camera to buy so they can get similar pictures.

I assume they will only want a simple point and shoot, I can't imagine them wanting anything with lots of controls on it like a DSLR.

I told them that my Fuji had cost me £220 at the time when I bought it (over a year ago) and she seemed happy with around £200 but would she need to spend that much on a compact?

    What should I recommend?

Why do I get myself into these situations Huh? [:^)] ... *shakes head*

    Cheers

    Re: Help!

A good camera with a good lens and a good viewfinder and a good price that is easy to use and will give excellent point and shoot results CLICK

    Re: Help!

Shooting in the garden, with good light should be well within the capabilities of most compacts, if they are prepared to go the next size up, something like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 or TZ5 would have better optics than the very small units. Why not something like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 bridge camera, good Leica optics for under £170.00. The worlds your oyster for decent compacts and bridge models with £200 notes in your pocket.

Thank  you both so much - I will pass on both your suggestions, then she can make up her own mind.
