This weekend's subject is...

"A DOOR" 

Following last week's success I thought I might continue the theme with Knobs & Knockers, but decided to enlarge on that by choosing A DOOR as the subject. Hopefully images will include some interesting Knobs & Knockers. 

Offering a multitude of opportunities, old doors, new doors. coloured doors, exterior doors, interior doors, wooden, glass, metallic, up and over, stable, some unstable, house, factory, office, shed, open, shut, ajar,.............doors. Nothing but A DOOR within the frame ( no pun intended).

As much photoshop jiggery pokery as you like.

Photo must be taken on 19th or 20th July 2008 and submitted by 12:00 (midday) Monday 21st.

It's not good for your blood pressure Alan - all this talk about Knobs and Knockers I mean. Have a look see at the 'Entries' thread, it should be July not Luly or is that perhaps your way of telling us all you've gone all luly luly? Now off to scour the neighbourhood for signs of any interesting knockers - er, doors I mean.

I'm going to go looking for knockers.....ooooo errrrrrr

I meant within the the frame of the picture, the thing that the door is hung on is the door-frame and is part of the door if you so desire.

I don't think a door ever stops being a door, but in your world who knows. There are such things as door-stops however, but that's not what we're talking about.

Does a gate count? Only if it's a turnstile.

Why don't you post an entry and see how it's received? Perhaps you could hatch something up that will astound everyone.

Don't whatever you do post a shot of you looking through any kind of opening! I've just seen Post Your Best Here.

Before someone asks, there are fridge doors, cupboard doors, washing machine doors, dishwasher doors, freezer doors, cabinet doors, lift doors. On an allotment near here there is a shed made from old doors.

Wow - I thought that prison doors could make a great pic but didn't imagine that anyone here would have that opportunity. Hope you get a chance to take a few shots, Angus.
