Ah but we have a lot of new members and perhaps it is good to cover an old subject and see if those who took part last time improve, although admittedly whien i suggested it to crafty i had not realised it had been covered already in October last year

It's getting like TV around here...nothing but repeats! We've even got old photos being repeated in 'Post your best'. I don't mind though...as said...there's a lot more to enter now. Should be interesting.

Motion as the theme is a great idea! I have only taken part in the last four competitions. I did not get the chance to have a go the last time it was done. I'm looking forward to having a go this time. Here is why I don't think repeating a subject is a problem;

1.    In general there are more people taking part in the competitions.

2.   Those who have previously  paticipated will be out to improve on their last effort.

3.   Every theme is open to so many interpretations.

I agree with Jim. I to have only been taking part for the last few weekends. I think a repeat of a subject is a good idea. I think i am going to struggle with this topic though. Still I will give it a go.

Oh and congrates Crafty on another win.

Do you ever wish you hadn't mentioned something?    As I said it's a great subject, and I'm looking forward to seeing the entries this week.   It will become increasingly more difficult to come up with something original.

For once I am going to be prepared.  I know exactly what I am going to do, and have to get up v early Sunday morning to go do it.  I just hope that I can pull this off.  The subject matter is superb .. my camera skills are not !
