    Chat for the Weekend Competition - 2nd - 3rd June 2007

    This weekend's theme is:

    'FROM A DISTANCE...'

This is another competition designed to get people out of the house (and garden!).

Wide angle, standard lens, telephoto or zoom, the choice is yours. The subject you choose to photograph is entirely up to you.

The only stipluations are that your shot must feature a strong composition and must be at least 50 metres away from the camera that takes the shot... i.e "From a Distance".

Landscape, architecture, sports, street scene, whatever...it's up to you, just make it a great composition from at least 50 metres.
    ____________________________________________________________________

The FAQ for the competition is available here (please read it)

From a distance, I know a song about that! Big Smile [:D]

I think you need to put, 'the subject' between 'and' and 'must', otherwise it sounds a bit confusing. Wink [;)]

It's a good plan but doesn't the exif data show what lens was used?  Smile [:)]

Reminds me of that Father Ted scene where Ted holds up a toy cow and says "No Dougal [points to toy], these are small.  They [points out of window] are very far away" Big Smile [:D]
