Hi people, i have just purchased a sigma 28-70mm F2.8 lens from ebay for a good price, do any of you guys have any experience of this lens and how good it is.

I currently have a tamron 18-200mm and usually use it around the 28-70 range so thought this sigma lens would give me better quality and faster focusing as the tamron can be quite slow! Whats your thoughts on it?

yesi have used the sigma 28-70 andithink that its a cracking lens its sharp and lets the light in I used mine all the time brilliant lens.
