Two of these magnificent lion sculptures stand guard at the peace pagoda at willen lake. They warn away evil spirits and protect the path that leads to the pagoda...

As the sun slowly sinks towards the horizion the light begins to fade. A final glimpse of the day before nightfall. The path still lightly lite by the glowing warm rays leading you to the Peace Pagoda at Willen Lake.

Newport Pagnell High Street. Every year the christmas lights go up to celebrate Xmas. Locals are asked to sponsor a bulb at £1 each..The £1 donated pays for the lights and electric used to put on this lovely display. This is organised by a small band of trusty residents who live in the town. They spend many weekends putting up the lights and on switch on day the high street is closed off and we have stalls selling all manner of things. Raffles, allsorts of achtivities and even a merrie-go-round. The money raised going to local charities. It also Brings together a community spirit and gives everyone something great to look at as they go about their bussiness around town.....Alan

OK, Your all probally fed up with seeing this lake...LOL. Still heres' another but I think it will be the last for a while!! It's one of my favourite places.... I walk around here quiet a bit thinking deep thoughts, wishing and taking Ruby for walks at the moment. It's a place I can focus on as the ocean is to far away.....!!

Found this one while deleting loads off the Pc. Played around with it in elements 6 and this being the end result. The shadows and composition is what I originally liked but it looked quite bad in colour. Hope you like what I have done with it...Alan.

As the warmth of the day starts to disappear when the sun sets, winter begins to take hold and the nights coldness consuming the days heat . To see the sun again!! To feel the warmth around, such heaven after the coldness of night!!

Still messing with the blues!! As with the last image straight out of camera but completely diffirent setting on some things. Thus the title, Pole's apart,(and the birds sitting on some of course,LOL) only a very short time span between both shots. Just goes to show if you play with setting what can be achieved without the use of editing on the pc.

OK I'm really going mad here...LOL? I love taking low light shots and one of my other passions just happen to be automotive photography. So why not combine the too and create a lowlight automotive action shot, well nearly anyway...LOL....NO speed camera was used in the making of this shot!!!
