Again taken at Valencia's zoo. You can walk right through the lemur enclosure and I was lucky enough to be there when there were new babies. This photo reminds me of mums gossipping in the street while their kids begin to get bored...

Stamping Ground

This was taken at Valencia's new zoo (or bioparc). I think the rhinos were play-fighting but were moving about a lot - I was happy to get a successful shot while panning the camera with them. It's a great zoo as there are no fences!

This my nephew at 6 months old. He's quite a pickle and it was a challenge getting him to keep still!

This was taken during the 'Crema' or burning during Valencia's Fallas festival. The heat was considerable so I used my compact camera so as not to melt my DSLR!

This was taken at the Flower offering parade during Fallas in Valencia. I was trying to take a photo of the back of the dress as the girls walked past but the parade stopped, the girl spotted me taking a photo and I got this portrait instead which turned out much better!

I recently visited Yellowstone National Park; it was early evening and most of the crowds had gone home - a thunder storm was threatening in the distance.
