High on the caldira rim can be found the village of Imerovigli and this view.

Make your way from Imerovigli to Thira and you can’t miss it!

Well maybe you can, the views are so stunning!

I like this photo, I would say I'd have to frame it and hang it in my home.

Nice composition and colour. Looks like a very photogenic place (never been ).
Like Foster said, it wouldn't look out of place hanging on any wall.

Thanks for your comments Smahon.

It is a very photogenic place, I would even go to say that the majority of images of Greece that we see would come from this island.

Oh!!! Imerovigili, just a memory now.  I missed this one Alf.  I was in a cafe overlooking the Caldera having a nice cup of coffee instead. You've done nice job of this one.

I can't belive you missed this one!  It's on the main route from Imerovigili to Thera town...

Saying that there are so many place that the eye is drawn to it is understandable.

Did you try a small teverna on the path into Thera?  I think it was called Vornous... Lovely place.

Potentially this is a great photograph, but the horizon is not level and it is over exposed, washing out the beautiful rich colours and detail inherent in the scene. Have a go with levels, brightness and contrast and see if you agree with me.

Guy,

Thanks for your comments.

I've been waiting for the not so level horizon to be pointed out.  I did it specificulty thinking the lines of the building, boat and cliff face were more important for what I wanted.

Saying that I'll revisit it and see what can be done with levels etc....and the horizon.
