This was more of an experiment and a record shot for Lorna's scrapbook.  Saying that I'm more than happy that it came out so well.

Oh, and it was just a little hard but very nice to eat.

Cor! the amount of pears I eat in a week and it has never occured to me to photograph one.  Too simple a subject I 'spose.  Your shot above shows just how much I have missed.  Nice one, Alf.

One of my favourites in your gallery. A really strong and simple image. For some reason I can't quite explain I think the little leaf still on the stalk somehow makes the picture.
