You've got some great landscape photos with great composition but I like this photograph because it's not a typical jetty and lake landscape. The wall on the left twists this into something different and more dynamic. The scene without it is very still, very calm but with the wall it's added another dimension which makes it much more interesting.

I'd say this was a really pretty little spot. I like still water reflections and this is a very good one. Well done. Howard.

An unusual vista.. for a moment I thought the wall on the left was half reflection too.

Many thanks for the comments and the MPOTD!

I spotted the potential for this photo whilst out with the family and I returned to the spot when the sun was approx 90 degrees so I could make best use of the polariser. With wife & kids waiting in the nearby car I dashed out and took a few shots and I think this is the pick.

I'm sorry to say I missed seeing my photo up there, but I am chuffed to bits with the recognition. I am encouraged to post some more recent stuff now, many of my pictures here I now consider to be 'old', and I hope you will see the improvements.

Thanks again

Baz
