I find this an intriguing image. I keep wondering what it is that's been abanandoned - the chair, the bed, their owner? There is a sense of emptiness and mystery. Well done. Cheers, Eileen.

Great lighting and composition Andrew.  It reminds me of a famous American photographer, Dorothea Lange's work.  It's quite documentary and as Eileen says, plants that seed of mystery.  Good stuff, Steve.

thanks for your comments.
Alan- well it was for a picture so i decided to clear the area a bit. After that i put Mike Oldfield on and spent 1 hour tidying my bedroom.
I have always tryed to get a decent shot of this chair but nothing seemed right until i thought, what would it look like in B&W making it seem a bit mysterious and it finally just clicked.
Thanks again.
Andrew

A great shot. Yes, it does suggest abandonment, but when a bloke tidies his room, it sort of looks that way, doesn't it?
Really nice conversion to mono.
