Hi Anna, I've just seen this and have to say it's extremely well composed and thought through.  The exposure and detail are first class, I love it's uniformity and subtle colours.  Well done and great to see you posting more quality work.

Stunning shot Anna. I have seen many shots of the West Pier but yours one is definitelly one of the best that I have seen. The composition is dramatic and works well with the sky and the mood of the day. Well done. Zuzana

Very sad indeed Anna. This Iconic landmark is the first thing that comes into my mind when I think of Brighton. There have been so many stories of attempts of restoring this beautiful structure but the one that I recall the most is the story about it being restored using lottery funds only to lose out to the Royal Ballet in Covent Garden (rumoured), which was very deserved as it was so obviously at any moment due to crumble and collapse in a heap unless it received several million for a refurbishment (mainly nice new red carpets and a few seats to be priced under £100 for the poverty stricken lol. In all seriousness as a local it is quite upsetting seeing it in this state of repair when IMHO lottery funds are spent on undeserving projects.

At least it will live on in photography..........well captured Anna. When I visited there 19 years ago it was in a bad state, so I imagine it is worse for wear now.
