Interesting shot, great composition and colours...

This seems to be an excellent place to take some pictures!. You've captured here the sense of emptyness and desolation perfectly, Sharon. I love the composition and lightning. This is another front page material. Juan.

I have so got to get me a wide angle lens (but a D3 would involve selling body parts I am still using!). Another great shot. You'll be the final documenter of this town if the place is filling with sand as fast as you say. Well done Sharon. Howard

You can see why they call it Ghost Town!  I have seen many photos of this place but i have yet to see anyone who has shown the decay of the buildings they way you have - very well done - Cheers JO

The two doors leading to the third are great subjects and the light from the windows all lead the eye in to the shot. Really nice. Congrats on POTD.

It can be really difficult to convey a feeling of desolation in a single photograph but this shot does it superbly. The wide angle has been used to great effect, the composition is strong and the lighting works to highlight the emptiness. A very well deserved POTD. Rach @ DCM

Lovely piece of work. Did you arrange the doors yourself? The composition is stunning. As Rach says, it really conveys desolation and decay. But a beautiful shot all the same.
