Hi Claire - HDR? yip, sort of. I didn't take two exposures, but I made a light and dark version from the same RAW file then merged them. I prefer it to using the 'Highlight/Shadow' tool, which gives a strange halo effect and seems to make things look a little ghostly. Thanks for your comments   :-)

Thanks very much for your kind comments. I used a gradient adjustment layer for the sky to add a bit more 'bite'.
