Surprised such a fine image has not received more praiseworthy comments Paul - a real superb image in my view - but what do I know about photography - "diddly squat " if I were to listen to others - lol - no joking aside - this is a truely magnificent landscape.

Swans - what swans? The birds on the racecourse railings don't look like swans to me, and I've shot a few!
Tranquil? Surely this is a flooded river and therefore not as tranquil as it is trying to be!
Spill the beans, craftysnapper.

PS I do like the photo - bags of atmosphere whatever the circumstances.

Again another great shot although I think I prefer the "mallards on the swan pond".  Mind you would still have loved to take this myself.
