Another one of my favourite places on the Dorset Coast. I consider myself to be very fortunate, as a lot of my favourite landscapes in the UK are no more than an hour from my house.

Eddo, in answer to your question, the only way that I was able to maintain detail in the foreground and capture the sun was to perform an HDR capture.  I took three images at -2, 0 and +2 EV with the auto bracketing feature on my camera.  I then created the final image using Photomatic's HDR Tone mapping software.  I did try to use ND grads but they made the cliffs to the left of the image too dark.
