Blea Tarn

Blea Tarn

A couple of weeks ago I was helping a friend near Hawkshead and got finished mid afternoon so spent the rest of the afternoon around the Langdales and Blea Tarn. The weather had worsened by the time I got there but I managed a few shots I'm quite pleased with it. This is the classic Blea Tarn shot but the wind was rippling the water so I used a long exposure to smoothe it a little. 16mm, 1.8 sec @ f/22 Darren.

A very good picture of Blea Tarn different to most with the added appeal of the fence giving you a leading line into the picture
