True Blue

True Blue

Taken last night on my way home from work. I had already missed the sunset but the sky was now an amazing blue and this colour was nicely reflected in the water, which is Coniston by the way. Thanks for looking, hope you like it. Darren.

Beautiful blue tones and a cold, clear sky that's mimicked by the completely still water. Bet that water's cold...

A very hypnotic and beautiful landscape, the lines of the shore with the diagonal of the pier, the circle of the rock and the vanishing point of the horizon are magic, plus it is such a nice colour.
Congrats on mpotd.

Sorry I missed this before now, superb work Darren. I think I prefer this one of the two 'blues', (both great shots) the portrait framing seems to work better with the image IMHO. - Paul
