Misty Morning on Coniston

Misty Morning on Coniston

Taken on a late November morning, the same as my last upload. The hoped for sunrise was a none event and the stillness and mist made for a very lonely feeling. I wanted to capture the whole pier jutting out into Coniston and decided to step back and use the tree branches as a natural frame. 11mm, 1.6 sec @ f/11 Thanks for taking the time to look, comments always appreciated. Darren.

Darren - have you thought about cropping the ground in this one - I think it would make the shot complete - despite my observation - this is a very pleasing and peaceful image - I like it a lot.

Thanks both for the comments. I do have a couple of shots without the ground Gil but wanted to show the length of the complete pier in this one. - Darren.
