I just love this shot. At first it seems like the standard 'shiny rocks in foreground' image, but looking closer there's just so much more interest to be found - the sludgy, unappealing seaweed gives way to a pink sky, and the row of different trees on the rocks in the distance look fantastic - like each rock has a different species of plant on it.

I was wondering how long it would take for your excellent work to be recognised Edwin - maybe not your best to date - but none the less a fine quality image that shows your original style and excellent photographic talents to the full - well done on making the front page - cheers Gil.

Your view of Bora is not portrayed by this shot (which is excellent) as it still looks like paradise. Wonderful composition and lighting and I love the way the water meanders us into the shot. Congrats on mpotd.
