Awaiting The Snow

Awaiting The Snow

Another one for the experimental gallery - this "effect" was achieved by playing with smart objects and smart filters in CS3 - anyone interested in experimenting with this effect should look at the good article about same by Duncan Evans http://www.ephotozine.com/article/Photoshop-CS3-Effects-Template - gives a very interesting effect and the great thing being the effect you create can be easily transferred to other images - I am not totally pleased with this my first effort - but I will persevere - well worth more experimentation - unfortunately those without access to CS3 will be unable to enjoy playing about with these great new features in that edition. Only experimenting because as the title says - I am still "Awaiting The Snow"

I remember a time when you always give us a row about great big borders and how the spoilt the image. This is a bit hypocritical of you now would'nt you say?

No I wouldn't say - better to keep such snide remarks to pm's - where they truly belong - you do yourself no favours here.

I like the treatment Gil, very creative and doesn't detract from the image (which is excellent) for me. Good work. Phil
