What a superb re-emergence Gil!  I love the colours and starkness of this shot.  The low angle has given it tremendous impact.  Well done.  I'm sure the painful pruning will be worthwhile.  Steve.

A good, clear shot Gil, with interesting subject matter. I like the juxtoposition of soft, fluffy clouds and harsh, dry wood. Watch your noise levels in the sky, though - it's better to bracket when taking the shot than try and boost the brightness in post.
