Having seen so many single eye shots I was getting fed up with them UNTIL I came across this FANTASTICALLY DIFFERENT and EYE CATCHING image- superb capture - still trying to work out how you achieved it - a definite 5 stars from me too.

Gill......fantastic!  Is it one original shot or two layered shots?  Which ever, it's great...well done.

Wow - your comments really surprised me - i'm really chuffed ! I was only looking back at the gallery by chance and i was amazed to see comments (very flattering ones at that) because i haven't even put a link in! The photo is more or less as it came out of the camera a tiny bit of tweaking of curves (as opposed to my avatar (?) where i had a go at the levels too).  The shot of my daughter Josie's eye was taken in the garden, obviously no flash, the framing was me the fact i was dead centre of the pupil was pure luck ! Thanks again !

Wow. What an awesome image. Didn't notice the photographer's reflection in the thumbnail, glad I looked further now. Sometimes a bit of luck is just whats needed huh.

The reflection makes it, as Fin said we all need luck, but that aside it is still a good sharp shot, well done!

hi Gill, I've been away for a while but thought I'd have another look round - this photo looks just as good to me now as it did when I commented on it over a year ago!  Fantastic capture.

Great shot and positioning whether planned fully or not! I do like the re-coloured version too - yex probably prefer the avatar version.
