reflection on ...

reflection on ...

guess what ... a weekend comp entry on reflections. This was the first time i've ever done "street" photography and i didn't find it easy at all - the shot was taken from quite a distance. The post edit work was to make the guy stand out from the busy background.

I have tried street photography and it does take a lot of guts to do. Great shot for a first attempt and good post editing.

Really Good Shot.  Very Simple But You've Just Captured A Moment Beautifully.

Nice shot. Composition is spot on for me and the selective colour works well too. Makes you think too which is always good. Nice one.

I keep coming back to this photo Gill - it's got everything going on, the selective colour, the reflections in the window, the subject matter, and leaves me wondering what the subject's story is for him to end up where he is in the shot. A brave shot too, and not one that everyone would be comfortable taking, or viewing. Very well done.

Excellent work Gill. Never done any real street photos - apart from first thing in the morning when nobody else is around (which doesn't really count). This is great. The thing i like most about it is that although you've converted the background to mono - it looks correct. I don't see the mono, I see the guy in colour. Perfect. Cheers, Col.

For a first time shot I think this is absolutely excellent.  Street photography is something I would like to do but haven't got the guts to try yet!

Nice street work - don`t know if you meant the other guy in the reflection to be walking away seemingly or whether it might have been improved with a delay until he was out of reflection shot. Good image overall though
