The tones in this image are fantastic - even the clouds draw your eyes to the stones. Well done.

This almost looks liek an HDR image, how did you get the exposure on the rocks and the sky so spot on?

As it was late in the day and the sun was quite low, and the sun was behind me, the sky wasn't that much brighter than the rocks (which had the low sunlight on them). I used a 1-stop Grad ND filter (0.3) just to help things a bit.  Otherwise, it's just a straightforward shot.

Lovely shot, but it makes me feel a bit spooked, as though its an ancient ritual site or something!  But then I'm a bit odd sometimes....  another lovely shot.

I like the central position of the stones. It makes it feel as if the landscape is surrounding them.
