Can I answer Ryan's question for you Harry  - Magic the man is a Wizard !?!?!?! - wonderful capture Harry and a very simple and effective border - it in now way detracts from the photograph but enhances it - others should look and learn -- a well deserved mini RPOTD slot  - regards Gil.

How was it done, I made a temporary light tent using a wooden frame and threw a white sheet over it.

I then placed the rose just inside the "tent" along with three slave flashguns. the guns where arranged so that the light was bouncing of the white sheet. Each gun had a piece of kitchen paper towelling over the head for more diffusion and also to control the light output. (These slave guns are very cheap Jessop's ones approx £14 each).
Slight shadowing was removed in my photo editor.
