Thanks for all the comments, guys! This is one of the first larger scale attempts to get a shot. The bulb is a decorative bulb (60 watt and very little light) that I put in a holder and wired in a dimmer switch to get it turned down enough to not blow highlights and just get a glow. The rest of the scene was illuminated by the tungsten bulbs in the chandelier to give the nice warm orange light.
The book is a copy of P.A.M Dirac's book on quantum mechanics and the derivation of electron spin.
