Multiplicity

Multiplicity

This shot was taken for the weekend competition set by Gill Maheu (hope I spelled that correctly). It's a zoom burst of some wetted pebbles. My first attempt at this technique, apparently the zoom burst works best when there are point light sources, e.g. more distant lamps at night. Oh well...I find it intriguing. (btw, this description was added after button 44's comment - hope it helps explain what it is).

I very much enjoy abstract art and photographs, and for me this has loads of apeal
its a very calm image, some zoom burst photography that I've seen ,can make me feel dizzy,
but this image isn't one of them, it has a suble Organic quality, I could certainly live with it on my wall and would enjoy it very much for its elegant mystical quality....it what i would call " beautifully Zen"  :)

Many thanks guys-n-gals. I do find it an odd shot, I kind of like it myself, but at other times it's just a tad too weird for me. Still, live and learn - I'll have to try the technique again sometime.
