Wheel and connecting rod of the Canadian Pacific

Wheel and connecting rod of the Canadian Pacific

This shot was taken handheld with a 1.3 second exposure, f10, rear curtain flash as the train was pulling into the station. Oh yes, and under my left arm was my 1.5 year old son. Not the ideal conditions to avoid camera shake, but I feel it captures the motion of the moment.

I really like this abstract.  You could really play around with colours and filters on this to do a neat composition.

Hi H.R.,

I've tried playing with the colours trying to bring out the red in the connecting rod, or converting to B+W, etc. but don't seem to have a direction in which to take it further. I'd love some suggestions on further editing of this one.
