Great shot here Hugh.  You've done well to control flare and give us a lovely composition.  Well done, Steve.

Many thanks for the kind words everyone. I did bracket quite heavily to get this exposure, and there was a bit of lens flare in the shape of a caustic that I cloned out. Interesting how the star pattern of the sun comes from the lens itself (sigma 10-20 mm).
