Just seen this one Jo - how could i have missed it !?!??! - we often overlook such hidden gems - wonderful image - and works so well in the "high key" mode you have employed here - cheers Gil.

JStokes said:

Thank you Gil, but it is quite understandable how we can overlook the gems in the gallery - time is of an essence - it is not always possible to trawl through everyone' s gallery - sometimes it is hard just getting thru the newly posted pics. But i am honoured that you consider this a gem!  Cheers

Venture Jo is a studio that is big in the uk and do high key portraits and charge the earth for them too, but are still very popular. Might be something you could look into doing over with you. I love this  one it just show's the love and affection between each other something that you don't see that often. Another job well done.

Thank you Angela.  I have heard of Venture and there is something similar here, but it is a franchise and they are famous for the high-key kind of portraiture which i like but i like all forms and i think the franchise would hold your creative juices in check. But thanks for the idea - cheers!

Thanks Gill and yes my sister did enlarge this.  She has asked me once again to take a family portrait but this time her husband wants to be included - so i had better start thinking out of the box!
