The mighty Zambezi

The mighty Zambezi

I took this photo in March 2006 at Victoria Waterfalls in Zimbabwe. I was just starting out in photography at that stage. I unearthed this photo today and played around in elements to enhance it (i didnt have any editing programs at that stage). I hope you like it and enjoy a quick tour of Africa!

Thanks Bob & Colin.  No couldn't hear myself think and was absolutely saturated within minutes of being there. But an awesome experience!  Was there when i 9 yrs old, came back as a 39 yr old and not much had changed, no progress!  An unspoilt beauty spot - not many left, where i am from!

Firstly thanks Howard, Del & Donny for visiting.  Howard, i think you have had one to many pints, you are seeing double ....lol.  Donny, I can't say i noticed to be honest ... they were just still an awesome view, it left an impression on a 9yr old and it still left an impression on a 39yr old!

Thanks Donny, Wayne, Jim, Tony, Graham & Don for your positive comments. Yes I think it is a powerful vista and not badly framed but a friend pointed out that my sky was a bit too blue and I have to admit that i totally agree with him. The first time i was editing, the whole program froze, so i had to start again and unfortunately i was in hurry - the saying is - "Marry in haste and repent at leisure" so very true with this editing.  Cheers Jo

Thank you Bev & Steve - and yes Steve, even though it is hot up there, you definitely need a raincoat!  You come out absolutely saturated.
