Gateway to paradise?

Gateway to paradise?

Gosh i wish i was in paradise because today it feels like i am in hell! I was doing a shoot today, went to move a light, knocked my tripod and the camera and lens crashed to the floor! Luckily camera is ok, but lens is stuffed! And i am leaving to go on holiday on friday - and it is my most versatile lens .....drat!!!!!!

Jo! what are you like?!!! I hope it wasn't your landscape lens coz those mountains are going to be stunning?!!!..poor you! This shot has a great lead in, super detail on the gate, that little bit of orange string really adds some 'pop' to the grass. Rgds Sharon

Thanks Sharon, Kate & Andrew.  Sharon, its my 18-200 lens!  I have still got my wide angle.  I think insurance will pay but i am just sick that it happened now just as i about to go on holiday to a fantastic mountain range!

Jo, wide angle will be fabulous for mountains. Hope you will get a replacement soon. A gorgeous shot by the way - you can't beat that dramatic sky. Zuzana

Great shot Jo, love the dramatic sky and vivid colours. Sorry to read about your lens, these things always seem to happen at the most inconvenient times don't they? I'm sure your ability will win through whatever kit you use on holiday, have a good one! Rgds Paul
