It's not very often we get clear, cloudless skies in the North East, so on this particular evening this photo was taken I just had to take advantage.
I purposely set out to put the sun directly behind the angel's head, knowing with it being front lit it would end up in silhouette. I was hoping to get some spillage of light from the sun to give a halo effect, I was very pleased with the result, I hope you like it too.
