This was in Sept 2006 and the European surf chamionships were on in Newquay 5 miles along the coast and it just seemed such a nice contrast seeing this lovely couple with their makeshift boards. Thanks - Lee

Very amusing shot. I love the way the big wave is crashing down in the background as the couple enter the water. That really makes the picture work. The fact that you can’t see their faces doesn’t matter one bit. Perfectly timed and well composed shot. -Ed
