Forever Young.jpg
Not a masterpiece I know but this couple were absolutely lovely and watching them enjoy themselves amongst all the pro surfers was a delight.

This certainly has a real narrative to it Lee. Don't undersell yourself with these types of shots. I love their home-made surfboards. Cheers, Andrew

Nice shot Lee - colour and detail excellent and I think it is a really clever twist on the usual surfer theme - this has bags of character and is a super shot - regards - Nick

This was in Sept 2006 and the European surf chamionships were on in Newquay 5 miles along the coast and it just seemed such a nice contrast seeing this lovely couple with their makeshift boards. Thanks - Lee

I think that if you had got the pro surfers in the background it would have taken away from the young couple that you have nicely captured.

Lovely observation, Lee. OK, Ansell Adams it ain't, but it's a very touching and sympathetic shot, and I think it's great. Incidentally, I'm greatly enjoying looking through your portfolio, very nice work Lee.

Very amusing shot. I love the way the big wave is crashing down in the background as the couple enter the water. That really makes the picture work. The fact that you can’t see their faces doesn’t matter one bit. Perfectly timed and well composed shot. -Ed

Thanks very much guys. I personally didn't think it was the sort of shot I'd see on the front page, especially considering the amount of great stuff out there, but nice to know it is appreciated. And as always the main reason for me putting stuff on here is to get some constructive comments so I can hopefully make improvements. And Mark, please leave your cockles out of this, lol.
Kind regards - Lee
