Hey Linda this is really weird for the last two nights I have been saying to my wife I must take a shot of the Moon and what do you know you beat me to it and it's even got some birds in it better than I could have hoped for nice one Gavin.

Great shot Linda, its rather spooky in an Alfred Hitchcock sort of way, they really make great moonlight silhouettes. well captured, regards Steve

This is a super shot Linda, the birds and the clouds add so much interest to it. It does look rather sinister! Phil

Another fantastic shot and composition. The Moon is framed by both the birds and clouds showing great detail. I was disappointed by the clouds too and it's typical that over the last couple of weeks, the sky has been clear!

Mark, Gavin, Steve, Phil, Dave, Don, thank you all for your visit it is very much appreciated :-)
It took me ages to get the birds to fly into shot, most of the time they only flew in when I wasn't ready so I used the remote.

I see you've got your trained birds again Linda..lol! I think they need more bird seed if they're rebelling! I love the framing. It must be hard to get the birds sharp and exposure for the moon so you've done a terrific job. Great shot. Take care, Steve.

Steve, Donny, Zuzana, Sally, Gil, Angela, Tina, thank you for your kind words and visit :-)
LOL - Steve, I am going to start using a better grade of seeds
Donny - just been working a lot more just now, covering for people that are off. I slipped down the stairs yesterday and I am resting my ankle at the moment 'but hopefully I will get more time to myself soon :-)
Not moving Tina - what made you ask? (Unless I win the lottery :-) then. . . .)
Take care Linda

The clouds frame the moon so well. The birds add something extra that you wouldn't normally see in a moon shot well done
