Nice conversion & sepia toning Lurkalot, but I think I prefer the colour version - the different shades of green in the trees, etc adds a lot of beauty to the image. Mind you, given the subject matter, maybe the starkness of the sepia is more appropriate!

Think I would crop the left side to remove the part of the bush sticking out into the water and sky. Taken to an extreme, a square crop (well almost) may work, removing all from the left and taking it in as far as the group of trees on the left of the church, because you have all the detail on the right hand side of the picture, it seems to balance up the composition. The empty water on the left doesn't hold the veiwer for long and creates a dynamic that pulls the viewer to the right of the shot creating the imbalance. Do like the shot though, bet you'll really grill mine now!

I usually would prefer the colour over the monochrome Mick - but this conversion is so well done - it has a serenity the colour one lacks - this get 5 * from me too - I am gonna regret this - but I think I prefer this monochrome - the reflection seems to be enhanced in this sepia version - two great additions to your gallery. - cheers Gil
