Madeleine

Madeleine

Candid shot.  A steak of bright sunlight entered our lounge briefly as the sun burst through some thick cloud and came in through a gap in the blinds. Madeleine was just sitting in the right spot, half lit by the sun. I grabbed the camera and managed to get a single shot before it disappeared behind the cloud again.

Hi Shauna i'me amazed no one as commented on this lovely mono study of Madeleine you can see every hair on her head when seen in expanded mode it's very enigmatic with great lighting something else I seldom do is take portraits as my wife often points out that we have no recent shots of our grown up sons,it's trying to get them in the same room at the same time.  all the best Gavin.

Thank you Gavin - I'm glad you like it.  I love this picture of my daughter.  I think to get comments on portraits on this forum, the quality of the portraits have to be outstanding - this I can only dream of!!!
