Yeah, I like this one too, the pelican realy stands out fromthe blue background nicely...I would have taken the shot when the bird was further to the right of the frame though, so it had somewhere to go, iykwim, but that is just my thought...it really is a great shot.

Thanks Suz, you are right - classic composition rules for moving subjects say give the moving object some room to move into.  I took a number of shots, but this was the one I liked the most in terms of the layered effect of blue boat, blue reflections, etc.     Geoff
