WOW! Without a doubt, one of the most amazing captures I've seen, Mandy; beautiful composition, detail and colour. This is even better than front page material - it's a POTY frontrunner, in my book. Best Regards, Rick

Mandy, Mandy, Mandy!!  This is just Brilliant!!  I've spent some time looking at it expanded (A MUST)The flower has acted as a perfect light difuser, giving the whole image a beautiful glow to it.  The mozzy is in perfect focus, which makes this image a masterpiece. This should have been RPOTD without a doubt!  Well done Mandy, I love this image!

As everyone's said, this is a lovely photo. The splash of light highlighting the centre of the flower, the subtle colours and the razor sharpness where it needs to be - great stuff. Personally speaking, I'm not sure the frame adds anything more to the shot. I also think cropping it just a fraction (using the same proportions) might help the critter be a touch more prominent in the frame. But that's just my personal opinion. Marcus
