Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone, its really great to be back on the front page again although the POTD still alludes me! I entered it into the young photographer of the year competition so hopefully I might have a bit of luck in that! Thanks again everyone.

Cheers Nick. I actually got the idea from a previous copy of Digital Camera magazine which featured Michael Bosanko, he has some amazing images on his website. You set up your camera on a tripod and put it on bulb setting and then lock the shutter down, you might need to experiment with a couple shots to get the right aperture. Then use any kind of light source you can think of, they all give different results, and then step into the photo and move the light soucre around however you want. You can create all sorts of things, while I was down there I also created a guy standing on the pier and a fish jumping out of the water. Takes some getting used to but well worth the effort. Mike
