Tin Light

Tin Light

After finding the outbuilding, see previous "Abandoned", I came upon what was left of the house....the only remaining wall was this one made of tin shingles. What caught my eye, was that the window and all its panes were still intact. The tin shingles had begun their decent to ruin but the rust and color runs were quite pretty in their own light. Nikon D80, ISO 100, Shutter 1/50,Aperture f/3.8

Really interesting shot Nancy ! I have never seen or heard of tin shingles...makes a great textured shot, also like the view of branches and leaves through the window.

Tina.

Hi Nancy, don't close that bag just yet!  Your gallery gets better all the time.  I see you're trying some close in stuff and let me tell you, you have really made it work.  Tremendous impact here.  You can almost feel the texture from those tiles.  Keep up the good work.  Take care, Steve.

The earthy hues and gritty, rusticated appearance of this dilapidated structure make an excellent subject to photograph. Feel encouraged Nancy because this and your recent efforts are very worthwhile.
