My Happy Place

My Happy Place

Garden City Pier in Garden City, South Carolina is right on the Atlantic Ocean. It is a hang out for die- hard fishermen and families and couples. Underneath it during the scorching days of 100f +, it offers shade and perpetual breeze. Here is where you will find me if ever I am lost...under the boardwalk, listening to the ocean's lullaby , with the warm breeze blowing across my face, with my toes buried in the cool sand... Hey, I'll meet you there! Nikon D80,ISO 800, Shutter 1/250,Aperture f/5.6

I can almost hear "The Drifters" in the background - "Under the boardwalk - down by the sea" - superb image - been looking at it over and over again - must be a contender for POTD - it's THAT GOOD Nancy.

Great shot, love the way you've captured the warm light in this one. I recently posted an 'under the pier' shot and was advised by Bob that I shouldn't hang around in these places.....hmmmm! Rgds Paul
