'Chuffed'..
... refers to me being happy with the end result of this image.
Being off work with a broken toe has meant I've had time to experiment... This is actually four images. Three were combined as an HDR and one was left as normal. The HDR composite was then layered over the normal shot with the opacity cut back to about 80%. The area around the front of the train was then rubbed out to bring the original image back through.
Curves, levels and black & white layers were added along with a mild diffuse glow and finally the image was resized and framed.
Everything you see in the image was actually there... it just took a bit of effort to tease it out but it was certainly worth it.
Probably my favourite shot of the day.
