Thank you very much.  Great place to visit Bev but you'll need a tripod.  This was about a 30 sec exposure.  Watch out for the black widow spiders and rattlers too!  The light beam is emphasised by someone behind the rock piller throwing a hand full of dust/sand into the air.

Hey Steve, thanks for your comments. Is this in Utah or Lake Tahoe by any chance? I live in Colorado and I know places like this are within a weekend's drive for me if only I can remember where to find them. This picture is a great view point and lighting of these caverns and an inspiration to finally make the drive to find places like this.

The small image is stunning, love the tones and the light. When zooming into the full res image though there seems to be a lot of noise/grain which spoils an excellent capture? Don't fancy the beasties though!
