Balanced Rock can be found in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, USA. It is roughly 100 feet wide and 100 feet tall, with the 'pedestal' which supports the rock being 53 feet high. According to the guidebook, it weighs as much as 1,600 full size cars! Estimated at 3,577 tons! Up close it looks surprisingly delicately balanced, but the fact that park service allows you to get close suggests that it is more robust than it looks.
