I like the harmony of colour between these two buildings as much as the comparison of building styles.

What strikes me here is how two-dimensional you've made the composition - the high F stop keeps the shot pin-sharp from front to back, and while our better judgement tells us that the clock is some distance away from the block, the two together seem to blend to create a single, fascinating pattern of glass and brick. Excellent work.

At last one to really agree upon - the important quality of contrast has been cleverly achieved by the "contrast in shapes" rather than the normal  "contrast in colours " - very well thought out and extremely well captured here Steve - giving a really unusual image - with great lasting impact - cheers Gil

Congrats on mrpotd Steve. My only observation is that the dome on top of the tower is a bit too close to the edge of the frame for me, but a very nice shot none the less.
