Straws.

Straws.

Happened to notice some drinking straws in a box at work, so thought I'd take a snap after carefully arranging the desk light and locking the office door so people couldn't see what I was up to...lol!

What a great idea!Bright bold colors that we say most everyday and never notice! I like the abstract effect of this shot and the staurated colors very much! Great spot with this one!

A really eye-catching shot, Steve - well spotted and expertly executed.  So that's what goes on behind closed doors at the office when you're "in a meeting"!  Kind regards, Anna

Very pleasing picture Steve; even better that the boss paid for it without knowing. Is locking the office door and adjusting the lighting something you are given to? Howard

LOL, The thought of you creeping off with a box of straws under one arm and your camera on the other into a locked office with adjusted lighting......Brilliant, the things we do for art, lol, Back to the shot, great colourful piece , well spotted, framed and executed mate. The superb storyline of how you got this shot is a classic. Steve

So you've turned into a closet straw shot taker and then used one of them to drink the youth elixir, lol !!  Really super abstract shot Steve.

Donny and Tina, thank you.  I hope my job is safe Donny or it's the last straw...lol!  Tina, well spotted...now you come to mention it...lol!  I can see the similarity.  Nick something wasn't it?  Someone was asking how long I've been into photography and I thought that avatar might illustrate it..lol!  Are you back in Blighty or posting overseas Tina?  Cheers, Steve.

I love the idea and the bright colours seems as if by some kind of trickery that the eye does not know where to focus 1st. Very clever well done great shot.
