I missed out on skiing this year and this lovely shot just made me want to go even more.  really like it - kind regards - Nick

Angela, Anna and Nick, thank you very much! Yes, Anna, it's Croatia. It's a little village Ramljani (where my mother was born), with about 100 villagers. Closest city is Otočac 20 km nort-west. Shot was taken few days before new year 2007 (This date in photo properties is when I put the frame on it, sorry, I didn't notice this before). That year my girlfriend and I decided to come here by foot through the snow. We got out from the train in Ličko Lešće and walked about 10 km which is usually ok. It was beautiful but also a little spooky, becouse big part of this trip was through the woods, and we hawn't seen a single man (and luckily niether animal ) for these few hours. So that's where the title comes from.

You've captured wonderful detail. I love the way the snow laden branches and tree frame the scene. A superb composition.
